Kaohsiung Software Park is in the center of the Multifunctional Commerce and TradePark with an area of 7.9 hectors and a total investment of NT$13 billion.The ground-breaking ceremony of KaohsiungSoftwarePark was held on December 18, 2000 and the construction began on September 18, 2001 with the full support of “special commerce zone,” “special warehousing zone,” and “special culture zone” to be the R&DCenter or Headquarters of international companies.

Businesses objects of the project: E-Commerce, Internet, headquarters of the warehousing and transportation and related industries, banking finance system, telecommunications system, incubation center, multimedia industry and high-tech industries that are pursuing a high-tech, high-efficiency, and humane working environment.
